As mentioned on Facebook, the roads were fine but my car decided not to turn the fan on when I got traffic and got itself rather hot this morning. The irony of this happening when the dash reports -3 at the time..

-7 on my drive in this morning. Felt like it too.

While lowering this yesterday I had the wheels off and noticed the tyres are actually winters, proper snow ones in fact.

Have never had them before, fingers crossed for a proper dump of snow before I head back this evening. 8-)

-3 according to the car this morning. Mitigated by a stunning sunrise and blue skies (and having the car on winter tyres obviously).

I've changed the sensor links so the adjustment range is now lower. It still needs adjusting a bit but I'm confident it'll look fucking ace when I'm finished.

Amusingly my stepson sent me a text, and a video, showing the radiator fan on permanently on his car. I got him to check the coolant, which was all gone. Opposite problem for him, but more terminal (if he hadn't switched off quickly at least).

More or less special than someone who fits a winch, lift kit and big nobbly tyres to a 4x4 which spends 99% of its time driving around a city?

Drove around Alkham and Elham in Kent.

A Picanto was stuck outside the steep road going past the driveway, I offered a tug but he decided to turn around executing the slowest out of control comedy 3 point turn I have seen. This road is in the middle of the valley so the end of the other side of the road also has a steep climb - let’s hope he found a way out.

Lightbars are pretty useless in blizzard conditions

But they look cool

Also my LED lights whilst fucking bright don’t output very much heat so I kept having snow buildup on them necessitating a wipe every 15 minutes.
