In case you can't be arsed to watch, a summary of the facts:
1) Overall refugee numbers are about half what they were 20 years ago. The idea that the UK is suddenly being over-run is a complete fabrication.
2) Unofficial immigration via the channel sea route is driven by the deliberate and systematic closure of all official routes for seeking asylum - the UK has quietly abandoned participation in the various internationally agreed schemes for providing safe haven for victims of war, ethnic cleansing and persecution.
3) According to Home Office numbers, the vast majority of refugees entering the UK by small boats are genuine asylum seekers, *not* economic migrants. Even considering the deliberately hostile application process, 61% of those crossing the channel are granted asylum in the first instance, and 59% of the remainder are granted it on appeal.

No point in trying to tie it in with any dumb brexit tag lines, these are just horrible disgusting people. There'll always be horrible disgusting people unfortunately.
Re: At least 30 asylum seekers die after dinghy capsizes in Channel.
I think there's *every* point in tying it in with Brexit - when you whip the country into a nationalistic fervour, and convince them they're under immanent threat of losing their national identity, for the purposes of pushing through the brexit vote, and then the government continue to dog-whistle about immigrants and border control to maintain support, it's not exactly surprising that some will see it as an invitation to direct action.

Fair enough, it's brexits fault.
Re: At least 30 asylum seekers die after dinghy capsizes in Channel.
It's not specifically Brexit's fault, more like this kind of bullshit and Brexit are symptoms of the increasing confidence that hardline nationalists have in pushing their agenda.
An absolute unit
