The BoE raising interest rates and then saying that the UK will fall into a recession was a real no shit Sherlock moment. Then saying that inflation from energy prices was due to Russia so I’m not sure how raising interest rates in this country will affect Putin’s decision making.
Better hope the rest of Europe falls in the shit first.
How about not having a sig at all?

Frankly we all know this is utter bollocks, the prices were rising way before Russia invaded Ukraine (no matter how many times Biden or the BoE try to gaslight us we can all see this in the historic data), printing money for 15 years, giving it away during Covid and Net Zero have caused this.

I have thus far not commented on the 'war'. It's all a distraction from what is really happening.

Good to see fuel coming down tho.

I honestly don't want to discuss it. Do some searches for alternative views to the msm.

I’m pretty sure I make this post every year :)

Well summer didn't last long; the 20p gap is back , and has been for at least this month (so I've been told, I hadn't bought any for weeks).
The smallest gap I saw was 16p but the prices high, the largest 20p. I got the cheapest diesel I knew of and the gap was 19p. Hopefully it isn't winter diesel yet.

22p difference at the Shell in Sandhurst right now, 161.9 / 183.9 but they’re usually the dearest around here, Tesco always a few pence cheaper.

Still odd how normally pricey filling stations are now often cheaper than supermarkets.

My local Indy has UL at 154.9. local Shell 165.9. Blatant.
