If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

I had the rubber key 48k for a while before an upgrade to the +3. I also had a go in a pedal-powered C5 once, they were hiring them out at a campsite in Wales in the late 80s!

"a weird genius"
We need more of those.

Re: Sir Clive Sinclair
Sad...
We had a ZX80
We then upgraded that to ZX81 spec
Then got an actual ZX81 plus a Timex (I think?!) 16k RAM pack
Finally a Spectrum 48k
Very fond memories.
But he also had some stinkers that should have never seen the light of day. Did they not do user/market research then?
Or was he just a big ego who "knew best" (ignoring advice and being convinced of his own rightness)?

Our first computer was a ZX81 with the 16k expansion pack. I remember the expansion pack getting very hot and if you just touched it and wobbled it whilst the computer was on it would crash because the connection was so sketchy.
Happy days.
