X R idiots blocking roads
Re: X R idiots blocking roads
Yes, it's not some fringe woke leftist movement anymore. It's mainstream and seemingly growing at quite a rate.
Let's be honest, while we have factory farms and the horrors that come with them, the number of people going vegan will continue to rise. Social media's instantaneous, wide reaching ability will see to that.
Plus, people are only now discovering the industry's common, standard practises. It's quite incredible that a significant number had no idea that a cow doesn't just endlessly produce milk for no reason.. and then the online algorithm has them stumble accross a video of what happens to male chicks.. and so forth
The other day I saw a stat from an animal rights activist who said he'd had over 100m views on his various social media platforms. That number surprised me at first, but all things considered, the number isn't very surprising at all.

I’ve eaten Vegan quite a bit as the SIL was one for a long time. In every way it didn’t appeal and each meal left me feeling hungry.
Vegetarian meals are nice, I love a vegetarian Lasagne but mainly it’s all meat.
When I was eating solely steak and steak alone I felt fantastic but practicalities made it impossible in my line of work sadly.
Having the choices is important as no diet suits everyone equally. If money was more of a struggle the choices of quality meat would be more of a struggle and that is where eating less of it can’t be argued. £10 buys a lot of vegetables.

I said this on Twitter yesterday and it probably covers how I feel about eating less meat, going plant based/vegan whatever than anything I said yesterday.

I have no problem with people trying to convince others to join their mission to do whatever. What I do find offensive is these idiots carrying on like this. Its been bad enough this year with firms / individuals slowly getting back up and running just to be hampered by nobbers lying in the road.

Only problem with farm shops (at least those in the SE) is that a half filled box of shopping costs £40 - not really practical for most people! I'm also constantly amazed at how they grow coconuts, kiwis and bananas in Kent
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: X R idiots blocking roads
The problem with farm shops is you go in for meat and come out with a £4.50p bag of crisps and some overpriced jar of mayonnaise

Don't forget the Fentimans cola, they must put crack in that stuff!

Re: X R idiots blocking roads
Tried the Fentimans lemonade and was really disappointed. Won't be bothering with the cola.

As an expert on overpriced colas Fritz Cola is the best one.

Don't forget over priced Chilli sauce which must be good because I haven't' seen it in Sainsbury's

Those thick prison walls should provide excellent insulation.
Re: X R idiots blocking roads
They aren’t getting much love on twatter either

I don't think they know what genocide actually is."The nine chose not to standby and be complicit in genocide."
Apparently one of them is a recent engineering graduate, and is now going to prison.
Nice waste of a degree -
"Hi there, I see you recently completed your degree, what have you been doing since november last year"
"I was in prison for breaching a court ordered injunction against sitting on a motorway"
"Well, I think that's all we need to see. Thanks for coming in"

This is great news, hopefully they get the cavities in their bottoms filled with meat insulation multiple times during their stay.
