Took me fucking ages after I moved here to get my head round the fact that we have Marmite (which isn't Marmite in the UK sense) Vegemite which is similar but tastes different and Mymate (which is Marmite in the UK sense). Both Marmite and Vegemite have notably thicker consistencies than Mymate / Marmite.

Marmite (NZ) is the correct answer.

The title of the thread is actually the correct answer. Long May the drought continue. Marmite can fuck off and stay fucked off forever

Marmite has served tirelessly for decades, and attracts huge tourisms.

I suspect it looks like something you'd see in a clogged soil pipe.

And the blockage would probably taste better too!

I have just had Marmite on toast for lunch. It was very nice.

The rest of you must be doing it wrong.

This is the correct procedure for marmite on toast

Toast bread
Spread marmite on it
Throw it in the bin
Throw the marmite in the bin

Absolutely. You can't spread it on top of the porridge.

You're absolutely doing it wrong. Where's the butter? WHERE!!!

You clearly can't be trusted with anything as sharp as a butter knife. I wouldn't be surprised if you're just wiping the jar on your toast. Go back to your Frosted Shreddies. I don't even want to know what you would include in a Fried Breakfast.

I wouldn’t put butter on as it would be a waste when the dogs inevitably eat it. In fact I’d sooner eat the dogs food than marmite.

As for the fried breakfast I’ll have everything you can fit on the plate as long as you keep the marmite away from it
