Re: No F1 thread?
We have a fantasy formula 1 league in work, the e-sport replacement was posted earlier and the guy who kindly runs the league said he would still run the results through the system just for a bit of fun. Someone piped up saying that it wasn’t clear if all the F1 drivers would actually participate, so after several attempts it finally got through to this person that not all F1 drivers would be involved and other personalities would fill in the gaps.
Then started the complaints about it not being a real sport, they should make specific changes to improve certain elements in their view etc. Utter morons.

It’s a shame it’s on the F1 2019 game as whilst it’s a fun game it’s just that. It’s not a simulator at all.

Watched the “Not the BAH GP” on Youtube, which is a mix of drivers, esports nerds, Youtubers and other sports people. It’s actually better than real F1

At this rate we’ll never know how much of an advantage the push-me-pull-you steering brings.

Some cracking racing on twitch now, all the young F1 drivers, F2 and some YouTubers racing on F1 2019. Much better than the official one.

Vettel leaving Ferrari at the end of the season:

Will make the drivers market a bit more interesting.
So is there any team out there who will hire Vettel when he leaves, or has he boxed himself into a corner?

Re: No F1 thread?
I hope no one takes Vettel and they give the seat to someone else, I’d like to see more of the younger drivers winning. I can’t see Vettel being useful in the mid-field where there’s a fair bit more wheel to wheel racing because he’s proven to be utterly rubbish at that with Ferrari, he’s just a liability when the team need the car bringing home.
I watched Drive to Survive last night and I still can’t believe Grosjean Haas a seat in F1 whilst Nico Hulkenberg is out.

Can't see why. He's got the best deal in the business and a chance to surpass Schumacher. With Ferrari that seems unlikely.

If I was LH, I'd be going to Ferrari.

I'd be very surprised if Lewis left the best team on the grid to join the team he's beaten every year. Maybe after he's got another couple of titles.
Re: No F1 thread?
Can you imagine Hamilton working with leclair? It would be a toxic relationship, rosberg mk2. Hamilton needs a no.2 as a teammate not an equal
Danny Ric to Ferrari, hulk back in
Also seen rumour of them wanting sainz, with Danny a possible for McLaren

Re: No F1 thread?
Hopefully Ricciardo gets it, he deserves it. Can’t see any one challenging Leclerc though so it’s a no 2 or bust

Re: No F1 thread?
I still reckon Hamilton might end up at Ferrari one day, it's the big team everyone wants to drive for and I think the lure of trying to win a championship for them where his contemporaries alonso and vettel failed would be strong.
Cheers, Harry
