Gutted for Lando. He must feel sick as a parrot. Team should have pushed him to come in more than they did.

Also as nice as it is for Lewis to get 100 wins this isn't a good day for him given Max managed to claw his way back to second.

That's the hundred! What a race!

Feel for Lando though.

No. Strategy mistake from the team. Still a very good race and excellent driving.

Well post race the team were saying even Gasly would have caught him if he stayed out, and that the only better call than what they did would have been to box earlier (in other words, LH's fault for not boxing when first told).

Post race LH was saying his times were not good on the old tires too, so he'd obviously made his peace with the whole thing quite quickly.

Optimum strategy seemed to be when Bottas and Verstappen pitted. They were only a second or so off the pace for a few laps before they started catching Leclerc.
I’m more surprised that Bottas seemed to have quite an easy win, he’s usually a second a lap slower than Ham so the Merc must have had a serious pace advantage. Had Hamilton kept
Pole that would be one of those wins with a 40 second gap to P2.
How about not having a sig at all?

Yeah, in the early stages although passing wasn't always straightforward LH was getting up to the back of the next car with consummate ease in clear air. Comfortably the fastest guy on track all things being equal. Ferraris looked quick too at times.

 Still, finishing position improved on his qualifying position, so justified I guess.

Ricciardo is being replaced from the USGP onwards by Patricio O'Ward from Mexico. Never heard of the new guy.
