April's Fools
Spotted any?
I've got three so far:
Suez 2 in the Guardian.
Medway council announcing they're releasing crocodiles in the river
Local residents association announcing a new railway bridge (which annoyingly is a really good idea as it would relieve loads of traffic congestion).
And the kids made me a breakfast of orange juice (water and yellow food colour) and ice cream with sprinkles (mayonnaise with sprinkles).

I’ve been laughing at the journalists getting real mad at being suckered by the VW Voltswagen thing.

Some pish about Microsoft buying Discord that someone sent me, that I didn't bother watching.
Semi-believable as rumours have been flying around about it for a week or so now (that I've been aware of at least).
Otherwise I've yet to come across anything so far today.

Is that an April Fool? I talked about this last weekend; an alternative route would give some resilience and could be made larger to accommodate bigger vessels.
As to April Fools, our local pub had a badly photoshopped photo of a new roof terrace from which they say bands will be playing this summer.

Oh, was the Deliveroo IPO an April Fool?

Never say never, but this is copied from the article: "Felucca operators could carry as much as 28% of the Suez cargo volumes, or less. Camel trains would be on standby should water levels in the Nile drop."Jobbo wrote: ↑Thu Apr 01, 2021 9:20 amIs that an April Fool? Ah, OK - the article definitely is, then, even if the principle is something which may end up happening in 50 years' time.

Yes. Same with the bridge announced locally to me. It is a very good idea to create a second part across the railway there.

Smart Lego looks fantastic!
Re: April's Fools
I am struggling to remember anything even remotely funny since the Radio 4 announcement that God Save the Queen was being replaced with an EU anthem. Allegedly Prince Charles' office contacted the EU to ask for details.

Re: April's Fools
There was a plan for a Suez 2 back in the sixties. Not an April Fools. Mind boggling.

The co. we're ordering our windows from sent across the finalised post-survey quote today, confirming the colour changes we asked for. To blue...(should be white)
Ha.

I just assumed it was a typo.

It goes on a bit, but the idea of audiophiles choosing specific plants because of their audio enhancing properties is a perfect April Fool IMO
I can genuinely imagine some audiophiles not quite getting the joke and seeing it as being a real thing.
