Interesting, I used to prefer Alpro Soya milk for my latte, foamed better, stayed foamy and the slight sweetness made it better than regular milk, then the bastards changed the recipe and it didn't foam anymore. So I'll give the Oats milked by a barista edition a try. Although I'm hesitant to trust the opinion of a savage that microwaves coffee ;)
How about not having a sig at all?

Nothing wrong with microwaved stove top coffee! I'm intrigued by the oatly stuff - not for any eco/vegan bollocks but if it tastes even creamier then I might try it. My normal preference is proper silver top out of a glass bottle.

To quote the Beastie Boys

"I like my sugar with coffee and cream"

DaveE wrote: Thu Apr 08, 2021 4:25 pm LOL - I'm certainly no purist, but I do enjoy a good coffee - the batch/fridge thing is a good compromise of convenience and quality (IMO)
I'll happily microwave day old tea from the pot, but coffee..... Probably highly dependant on if you have it black, sugared or oh so creamy.

If I had an espresso machine the fancy oatmilk would be interesting to try. I did like hand frothing milk back when I had a small machine, a very tactile skill, feeling the jug temperature and listening for the nice microfaomy shhhhhwwssssshhhhh noise 8-)

Maybe I should clarify that I store the coffee as it comes out of the stove-top (I don't add milk etc and then store it)

So it's basically espresso (?) in the fridge, ready to go

I store my ground coffee in a sealed tub in the fridge.

I guess I'm doing it wrong... :)

Fucks up the oils in the bean.

Airtight container in a cool dark cupboard only

DIC

I used to store in the freezer until someone in a very nice coffee shop told me off for doing so. Just seal and keep cool.
