One of the weirdest evenings i've ever had
Re: One of the weirdest evenings i've ever had
Clearly been watching too many episodes of rogue traders or something and getting very confused about the difference between private and trade sales.

Come on dan and Jobbo spill the beans!

Probably prudent to wait until its all resolved
Re: One of the weirdest evenings i've ever had
There is no fun in (dear) prudence Dan.

There's a plot twist! "No officer, we returned the car *because* there was a body in the boot. We were very scared, so just dropped the paperwork and keys, then ran home. We did forget to report it though as we tried to calm down by watching Homes Under the Hammer and got completely absorbed in a two-bed semi in Kettering. It was most exciting".

Ha sorry, busy tuning a stupid noisy Ariel atom today.
Yes, it’s gone!
After an exchange of letters (ours being excellently written by Mr Jobson and his being written seemingly by one of his children) I think it was slowly dawning on him that the car belonged to him after all.
Finally last Friday he sent the mrs his first polite text suggesting they draw a line under all of the shenanigans and perhaps if she helped with the cost of the replacement clutch that it doesn’t need they could call it a day. Understandably my mrs wanted to text him back and tell him to go fuck himself but as his attitude had clearly softened I called him up and had a little chat.
He picked up his vehicle the following day

Good result.
A/ are there any other types of Atom? The howl from the charger on our driving buddy’s car was ridiculous.
3/ Can we have a redacted copy of the letter here, for our mirth & merriment?

And drove it away on it's intermittently broken clutch?
The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on
