I don't usually have to turn off ublock origin for the F1 streams from Sportsurge.

I've been fortunate that a friend has lent me her Sky Go account so I can cast it from browser to main TV.

However, someone told me you can purchase access in the WEC app and cast it from there which may be worth exploring. $15NZD for access to the race weekend, $20NZD for the whole season, so assuming it'll be like 7 or 8GBP for access.

I'll fire the laptop up too and have Radio Le Mans commentary going as well.

I must say they’ve tried their very best to make the whole thing a joke.

Toyota running in a class were it is the only entrant. Only three manufacturers in Gte-Pro of which Aston games qualifying so they don’t get hammered on BoP. Porsche with the best car getting stung with a 40kg weight penalty on BoP and being miles off the pace as a result.

All just a farce really. They should go back to limits on engine size only with a multiplier for hybrids and turbos and leave it at that. LMP1 should have been retired as soon as everyone else dropped out so there would be some interest in who will actually win the race out of the LMP2s.

Shame to see such a historic event being ruined.

I feel the same way, BoP is a joke, it’s all about who can sandbag the most for qualifying as Aston found out last year and were shafted for it. 14 sets of tyres I heard for one of the classes - such that they have to quadruple stint. Mandated pit stops so frequent that the cars aren’t even using a full tank of fuel between stops.
Drivers lift and coasting for 200 metres before big braking zones but being told repeatedly they’re on the limit for 24 hours.
Stupidly long safety car periods.
GTE pro pegged back so much they produce way less power than their road car equivalents.
The LMP1 class and constantly being told each year that the Toyota and Rebellion are equal
