Anyone for Tennis?

So Djokovic was disqualified yesterday from the US Open for hitting a line judge with the ball. Which sounds sensational until you see the footage. Some suggest the line judge is a relative of Neymar.

You'd probably get sent home from work it you threw something because you were angry and it hit someone in the throat too.

Like some sort of penalty. Rather than being sacked. Good point Rich

Indeed, he's not been given a lifetime ban. Go home, don't be a dick, see you at the next tournament.

Depends on the company - I've seen a person walked off the premises and sacked instantly for throwing a stapler at someone. The person wasn't realy hurt as such but the issue was the aggression shown by hum. It was seen by many so there was no going back. He was gone.

And that’s why the players have to leave their staplers in the dressing room. Removes the temptation.

It is appropriate, and I suspect it was the surprise / shock more than the actual impact that got her, but it does look like a bit of a dive.

Harsh. A bit petulant maybe but he didn’t smash it and his reaction showed it was unintentional.

Looks like he's discarding a ball (carelessly) that I often see tennis players do when thrown three and they choose a couple to play, returning one?

He made a mistake and nothing was done with any ill intent. He's apologised and been punished so everyone move on please.

It doesn't warrant all this hype.
