Rules is rules, it's a fair cop guv'nor. A few years ago that canuck lad fractured mr umpire's eye socket, tad more serious.

Basically Djocko is a bit of a ticking time-bomb since Djockovid-gate. Need to take a chill-pill Brian-style.

Not trying to make excuses - I think the punishment is just - but I'm just trying to understand what happened.

its not hard, he got in a mood and hit a ball without looking where it would go.

Same happens when my two year old gets moody and throws a toy - he gets the toy taken away and he says sorry or sits in the corner til he does. Next day he gets the toy back.

Same happens when my two year old gets moody and throws a toy - he gets punted over the fence like a ground to air missile. Next day he manages to crawl back.

Shirley it’s a bit more like this though? :)

He's not playing in the US Open after he hit his mum with a piece of brio track.

She went down like a sack of spuds, but to be fair, apart from the speeding projectile to her throat, it was totally unexpected so I suspect shock came in to her reaction. The guy’s a prize winning arsehole, but disqualification? Gies a break.
Cheers,

Mike.
