They're only flighty fuckers so no direct eye contact or sudden movement and certainly don't isolate them by letting them enter a bar before you. Fear of payment makes them incredibly dangerous and unpredictable.

Hmm, might make for a tad longer trip than envisioned, but not having had alcohol for years and curiosity might also shorten it somewhat.

Slightly ot; while wondering where to go I had a look at going down that way and doing a drive past while there, snap a wee Abbey sign for the Buckie thread, but I couldn't see a suitable sign (and I've been that way more recently so it wouldn't feel as much of an escape) .
