Muzzles*!!!

Post by Richard »

Anyone here a hardcore anti-muzzle-er?

Also, 5G, amirite!

(*That’s what your racist, hard-Brexit-now uncle calls face masks)

Bought a pack of 50 on Amazon last night. I've used gloves to go shopping in the past but no mask. But now they're going to be compulsory, thought it best to get a few!

I think there’s <5% of people wearing them in town (Guildford) today. Pretty much just old people.

I have no issue with wearing face masks, I have more of an issue over the Govts flip flopping on the subject.

Let's not bring up compulsory thongs....

If I were generous I'd say "For the greater good" they just plain lied about the public needing them so the twats buying up toilet paper and sanitisers didn't hoard masks as well.

But to paraphrase Machiavelli "Never mistake for prescience that which can be adequately explained by stupidly".

I expect they can’t make them compulsory until they are confident they have the stock to supply everyone, however they still want people to wear them if possible in the meantime.

Face covering (as opposed to masks explicitly) compulsory in Scotland shops since last Friday. Bandana, cleverly folded pair of boxers or whatever.

Yeah, I'd expect a snood (motorbike face/neck cover) would suffice.

Interesting take. I didn’t consider that. Seems reasonable

I had my hair cut yesterday. Talking to the hair dresser the one group of people who complain most about masks, taking the temperature when you enter etc is the elderly. The rest were fine with it.

Maybe old people have just gone past worrying about dying ?

My 72yr old dad doesn't get it, he goes to the shops everyday for fags, papers and bits and bobs without a care in the world. I've given up trying to explain its not a cold

I've bought one of these.

Rated for 200 hours of use, so should last me as I don't go out much. Plus, PPE is a valid business expense!
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
