Should be 60 (bright) going overhead at 11.51pm and tomorrow at 11.49pm there'll be 100 going over. Hopefully sky will be clear enough 🤞🤞

Best show yet from these satellite's. Once they appeared from behind the clouds they looked spectacular. Hope it clears up a little for the 100 tonight.

Keep trying to see these. So far, they've either been too low for me, or it's been too cloudy. I've got an app to tell me when they're about - https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/find-star ... 1501517711

Anyone setting their alarms for 2am to try and spot comet Neowise? Hopefully getting brighter from now to the 23rd. Some spectacularly photos have been taken already here in Norfolk.

As luck would have it, clear skies and timely insomnia meant I got a good view through some cheap binoculars.

In order to completely jinx this evening I'll get my camera out and set an alarm.

Just got a lovely view of it going diagonally over the house. The sky's clear, stars are out, it was pin sharp and v. bright 8-)
I'm trying to think of a good place to go comet spotting atm, I haven't seen it yet.

Been cloudy on the northern horizon since I got my camera ready :(

Apparently some people are getting good views from 11pm just need a clear view north-east.

Look for Capella which is pretty bright then it's to the left and down, or was last week.

I was going to post this in “random”, but it seems more fitting here.

Nicely done, although I wanted them to end with a long annotated time lapse. And they didn’t.

^ Looks interesting, I'll watch it in a bit.
Another lucky unplanned sighting last night. Surprise spots always seems better (well, in this context...).

Saw it at around 11.30pm on Sunday. Rather feint with the naked eye. But perfectly visible with binoculars.

Will be directly below the plough around now. Will try and go out again on the 23rd when it's closest.

Bah, forgot about that :( It's been cloudier than not and the last week seems to have just disappeared.
I saw the ISS a mo ago, another accidental sighting. It missed all the clouds and was visible all the way across :)
