It sounds too big to live in ! What's the plan for that ?
There's a good market for afternoon rates for, errr, "meetings" ;)
Rooms by the hour, we have been joking about that.

Anyone know a line in rubber sheets

It did..
That was sold as a result of me and my wife separating, the Aberdeen mkt seriously impacted by the oil downturn, so financially not a success.
well that sucks, hell of a nice looking house though!!
Beautiful. Excellent job!

I bought a new welder just before the first lockdown when it looked like the entire world was about to shut down, but have worked all the way through and not done more than a test weld with it 😂

Then as a reward to myself / midlife crisis 40th birthday present to myself bought the alfasud. Maybe the welder was a subconscious complimentary purchase.

That reminds me, I bought a bass guitar during lockdown. A strange purchase as I've never picked up any type of musical instrument before but I'm making steady if slow progress.

If you've not already found it, I highly recommend https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/

I have a few guitars inc a Bass, although I don't pick that up much.

This is my favourite of all my guitars. An Ibanez electro-acoustic. Although I rarely plug it in.

Today's lockdown purchase. A bin store. Man, I'm getting old. And it's more of a disguise than a store anyway.

Cheers, I'll take a look. I got a free subscription with the bass to Fender Play which is OK, although I have nothing to compare it to.

Used to play bass in a band in my late teens / early twenties.
Nearly got signed but didn’t.
Band fell apart.
Had to sell Ibanez SG bass and big Peavey amp when sprogs came along. Skint.
Lost most of my ability.
Youngest miklet now plays both bass and guitar. He is way better on bass than I ever was. The wee shite.

I used to play guitar in a few local bands in my early 20's and was decent. Narrowly missed out on a pro gig. Marriage, kids and life in general got in the way and I haven't played live in almost 30 years and very rarely play at all. Picking up my guitar now is an exercise in frustration as I lack the muscle memory, and general ability I once had. In my head I'm still decent. In actuality, I'm just a bit shit now.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

Losers, I played the Trombone and eventually play in a county Jazz Band. A few really fun times like a Superman mega mix with a Tuba player at Peterborough Cathedarel.

Pah, guitar players never get the bitches.

Dave!
