Bought some clippers from Boots for about £30 and did a reasonably successful grade 3 into 5 on top. (No sniggering Mito). My missus says I should continue this after we're all in the clear. I might do too - at least until they have paid for themselves anyway - being a bargain hunter in some respects.

I’m clean shaven now. My hair started thinning a few years ago, but not noticeably, but having 20 odd cycles of chemo did it in the end
The crap thing is always wearing a cap or hat, always too cold or too hot and risk of getting burnt.
How about not having a sig at all?

Yeah last summer was the first summer that I had gone down to just using the bare blade on my clippers and I ended up burning my scalp

Might consider some sort of hat this year.

I've decided to grow an isolation beard. My beard care kit that I ordered of Amazon has just arrived. I had my hair cut a couple of weeks prior to lockdown but as I'm not really going anywhere I don't really care what it looks like.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

As a longtime head shaver I always put factor 30 on my head when required and this stops me getting burnt. I got really bad sunburn once on my head and never again. It was very uncomfortable!!!

Nowt up with that young man! I tend to use Argan oil daily when I'm at work but currently whilst working from home I've done nothing and it's unruly to say the least. A bit of beard oil is a good thing. (ETA on my beard, not my vagina)

I also run my freshly shaved head with a little argan oil to keep the skin moist and add a little sheen. 😂😂

Doesn’t argan oil come out of a goats arse?

You should try Luwak coffee. Very nice too.

£20 cordless clippers arrived yesterday.

I did eldest miklet.

Mrs mik did mine.

Youngest miklet abstained from entering the programme.

Feels SO much betterer. 😊

I've never been to a barbers/hairdressers in my life as my dad was a barber until he retired. Up until my parents self isolating he was still giving me and and his grandsons a trim. My wife is giving me a quick once over with the clippers now as I have my hair short anyway due to there not being much to start with.

I have a Wahl beard trimmer that has a clipper head attachment and can do grades 1-3. So wife did ours last week with a grade 3 on the sides and back (normally have a 1-2) ut didn't feel brave enough to trim the top. It's better, but she's going to habe to put her brave pants on next time and sort the top mop out.

I clipped the lads back and sides and he looks pretty cool actually with his long hair on top

Second lockdown haircut now done, nothing off the top this time, just had the wife shave the back and sides down again and blended, much better than the first time
