Aye - back in the day, the ONLY person to eat a bar of Bournville was that odd old aunt, the spinster with weird tastes who only drinks cointreau
Exactly!
They're bringing back Old Jamaican too I believe?

We've got the full size american fridge with ice maker and filtered chilled water. Ive also got a portable fridge that runs on mains and DC for use in the garden or if were away somewhere.

There’s an unopened packet of “double choc” digestives in the cupboard.

1. I’m worried that double choc might ruin them.
2. I’m going to open, put some in the fridge and some back in the cupboard.
3. After suitable time I’ll test with a cup of tea (one dunked, one not) and a cold drink.

Work avoidance day #23.
Cheers,

Mike.

I’ve never really thought about putting them in the fridge, even though I prefer to put chocolate in the fridge.

This changes NOW.

I can't put any chocolate in the fridge; the bananas are in the way.

We have a full height fridge (150cm or so) for food, an under-counter fridge solely for drinks (neither of which have a freezer compartment), a chest freezer and a built-in fridge which is the standard under-counter size. Is that excessive?

Hmm, I've been given a couple of packs of Stroopwafels. They are currently in the cupboard and are stupidly crumbly. Maybe a bit of fridge action will make them edible without resulting in a place full of crumbs.
The idea with stroopwaffels is that you leave them on top of your coffee cup so they warm up and soften with the steam. They get less crumbly too.
Experiment in progress.

I am having to resort to Dolce Gusto coffee pods. My bean grinder and AeroPress machine are stuck in the office.

I stand by my choice that Choc Digestives are better in the fridge. Buy some, put them in overnight and tell me I'm wrong.
You’re not wrong. I can’t be bothered
