We're looking forward to escaping in the camper van as soon as we can, maybe to the isles, but the only slight concern is that large amounts of the UK population will be thinking the exact same thing!
Cheers,

Mike.

It's going to be chaos trying to get on UK campsites this year. We've booked in advance which we never normally do, preferring to leave it until the week before to pick the best weather. Cornwall booked for mid May which I'm hoping will beat the mad rush

Good new is that I'm having my vaccine on Thursday morning. Staggered that it's happening so quickly. I'm 47 and wife is 43 so they must really be cracking on with it.

Great stuff!!

That's interesting, I figured we ( 40-49 grp ) would have to wait, with the recent EU/supply situation still being argued over, pleased to see otherwise.

My mate and his missus had theirs last week, and right on cue they had the list of side effects over the following 36hrs, fatigue, headaches, squits etc.

No-one has side-effects!! Except pretty much everyone I know who has had it, including me & the wife

I still wonder about the 12 week rather than 4 week gap thing, but if 'they' think it will get UK PLC back up and running, and then we'll re-vaccinate in 2022, so be it. Anything for a bit of normality - and less 'kin walkers on my jogs!

Christ knows if I'll get mine before the EU/Rest of the World vaccine war kicks off fully. 43 in May but we have a lot of oldies around here - the wife in grp4 only got hers in the last week that those groups were supposed to be jabbed.

Meanwhile, the bumbling fvckwits in the EU/EU nations strike again

The EU continue to embarrass themselves over this sadly. The bit they seem to forget to say is that all their rhetoric surrounding the AZ vaccine means that nobody wants it in the EU anyway, so if they got more doses they probably wouldn't be able to put them in anyone anyway!

The EU seem to think that just because a vaccine is produced in country A that it actually belongs to country A. It's crazy. All this talk of 'this country didn't send many vaccines' etc is stupid. It just happens to be where the factory is. That's it. Period.

Batshit crazy crooked fuckers. A bunch of failed European politicians elevated beyond their incompetence.

Yep. Even if it's just the finish and fill. But this is how they've always been - it's just now the focus of their ineptitude and arrogance is of global signficance and affects every single one of us.

I've had a letter this morning for an appointment Monday.

I'm 44 and other than being fat i don't have any health issues so feel a bit uneasy.

Maybe you’re too beautiful to die so they are being cautious ?
