Maybe the old adage of if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all should have applied here.
Anyway I hope Boris recovers and recovers quickly.
Funny that the Russian news sites were correct yet are often decried as propaganda.

I do hope I am wrong in who they're referring to, but that's the impression I get.
Not the sort of situation you want to be dropped into at all, your boss who is very popular might pass away and you have to take on a crisis the likes of which we’ve not seen in our life times. That’s not a position I envy at all, he did carry himself well for the briefing earlier though and I guess he knew it was coming then.
We have an interesting and, at times, worryingly accurate representation of British attitude and character on this forum don’t we.Orange Cola wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 10:11 pmI do hope I am wrong in who they're referring to, but that's the impression I get.

I’ve bought enough cheap crap from China that when it fails on arrival I’ve sent it back or when it doesn’t work after a few months I then just buy something else, but this is something seriously important and the government there is responsible for the mess the world is in, I find myself agreeing with those who say we need to reassess our relationship with China after this. Globally we should do something to stop the reliance on the stuff produced by fakery, the flouting of patents, the slave labour wages paid And poor quality that makes goods from China so cheap.
Which one, the fact we need a virus which targets muppets or the one about Boris?ZedLeg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 11:33 pmHe doesn’t seem to know how many kids he has.Orange Cola wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 10:11 pmI do hope I am wrong in who they're referring to, but that's the impression I get.
Obviously I’m not hoping he dies, I just thought OC’s comment was stupid.
Ah, I’ve had a bad day today and I’m probably being a bit unfair.
Fair enough. I was getting a bit fed up of it taking nice people and I haven't heard any notorious criminals die from it, just the news about them releasing prisoners early so they don't spread it around
Very much this. It's imperative to make Brexit work I'd say.drcarlos wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 8:15 am I find myself agreeing with those who say we need to reassess our relationship with China after this. We'll end up closer to China after Brexit I reckon.Gwaredd wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 9:24 amVery much this.
