Can understand why. Only time my golf clubs have been out in years.

Why? I haven’t heard anything, even anecdotally about increased crime rates.

Glasgow has been very quiet.

Even the drug dealers are mostly staying home

Same with us, crime is at its lowest levels, near zero.

Only thing I've seen was idiots reposting footage from the London riots a few years ago saying it was happening now.

I went out at about 7pm for a supply run - never seen the roads this quiet. Really, really weird. In the week I've seen quite a few vehicles, but today was something else, like one of those dystopian movies.

Its just perfect driving roads out there though tonight. Empty roads, warm, dry, sun just starting to go down. Just awesome. Plenty of police out though, I barely ever see any by me at all, and saw three tonight on my 30 min round-trip.

I really need to run the Evora, so I might try and do that tomorrow.

Sadly to be expected. Can't understand how people can do that.

They'll also come in with guns now. ,😄

I guess the news is largely on local Facebook groups.

Our local authority has offered to pick up black bags in addition to wheelie bin and recycling which appears to have helped. I live on the edge of town and haven't seen any piss taking other than a bit of timber rustling 😂

They’ve stopped green bin collections and shut the tip so there’s now a bunch of people dumping their gardening waste into the field  Better than tyres and soiled nappies I guess.

Was on the phone to my electrician friend to put up a 4 strand electrified fencing round the sections which front the road, it should stop people trying to cut the fence too as the cows will be let out soon and there’s just too many idiots. When the bull is let on the field it will maul someone it doesn’t recognise so it’s too risky now.

They’ve just restarted green waste collection for us, though it’s not much use anyway as 2 weeks of grass growth for my lawn is way more than a 240l bin anyway, so I just chuck it over the fence into the woods anyway... 🤭

We've been granted 1 extra collection as they've realised that stopping it after everyone had put a week's worth of food waste in them might be a health hazard.

So my task now is to shred as much unwanted stuff as possible including next doors overgrown hedge which will go in their bin (property's empty atm)
