How far out is that from now Alex? You can actually make the booking after 5 months anyway, but only normally get offered dates from 6 months.

That's ridiculous.

No way is that right.

It should be for everyone, not just the over 60's.

Getting ridiculous

Had a heated debate on this in the pub yesterday - one old geezer reckons the unjabbed should not be allowed out

Yeah I think he admitted on a podcast that he'd had some work done. Also has a child now too, which I'd never have guessed had he not said.

What I would like to know is are they actively looking for more scary varients, testing for them and going WOW 3 cases etc when in actual reality there is no need to be concerned at all.

Getting very tiring. The worst thing is people are buying into it and taking precautions like not going out or on holiday in case they have to stay in for 10 days just by being near someone. I don't know anyone with a NHS app on their phone, does it even work now lol

New variants, yes. There are virologists looking at viruses all the time which is how COVID19 was identified in the first place. The 'scary' part is spin put on it by the Daily Mail et al.

The DM get impressively imaginative with their naming of each new variant.

Delta: MUTANT VIRUS
Omicron: SUPER MUTANT VIRUS
