What? That's ridiculous. I didn't even know he was 59, and at any rate I'd consider 59 middle-age nowadays. Poor guy. RIP.

Oof, very similar to what happened to me dad. Stop, drop, and gone.

I suspect his family will be having a particularly unpleasant few weeks as they come to terms with it; the unexpectedness is a mercy in some ways (it's 'better' than a long, drawn out illness), but horrible in other more obvious ones. Like it coming completely out of nowhere.
