https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... world.html

In total, 1,496,055 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed around the world, of which 336,780 people have recovered according to Johns Hopkins University.

Another 88,981 people have been confirmed to have died from the disease.

That means roughly 23 per cent of diagnosed coronavirus patients have recovered from the illness.

However, the true figure is likely to be much higher because some countries are only testing coronavirus patients who require hospital treatment.

Right then so out of 1,496,055 around 88,981 have died which is errr 5.95 ish percent??? Is this whole thing over egged? :D
That's based on only testing the worst and we know that lots of cases have little or no symptoms.

I'm waiting for the antibody test to arrive and blow the shit out of that figure to less than 1%.

Can we then line the media up against the wall?
Then you won't like this article click
Not trusting anything to come out of China, they have already lied repeatedly and their tests have also proved to be shit, to the point where we didn’t pay and I think I read we’re making our own. Showing that there are less people immune justifies their harsh policies and makes them appear to have done the correct thing. Sadly our media seem to be championing China as some sort of paragon in all of this.
I’ll wait for our tests before I draw a conclusion.

Hope she gets well soon, still haven’t had new on my sister in law but I’ll take no news as good news in this case.

My colleague who tested positive for it is on the mend now and working part time, my other colleague who had a serious cough for two weeks is well again now.

All the best to everyone fighting off this shite. Uncle has a bit of a relapse the other day, think it was due to high pollen count, so bad hayfever mixed with covid sounds like a cunt

I was reading earlier that in the Tickford Street workshops of Aston Martin, all the mechanics have stopped all work and now, just keeping NHS cars on the road, free of charge.

Confirmed positive test result today, so nice to know what she was fighting against.

Seems to be on the up and have dropped the amount of oxygen they're giving her again.
Cheers, Harry

Likewise, obviously. She puts up with you Harry, so I'm sure she's tough as old boots and will be fine 8-)

I have, ironically, been more sociable with my neighbours lately - maintaining suitable social distancing of course. Just had a couple of beers with my neighbour (who is, oddly, my predecessor at work) while we chewed the fat on economics, cars, and tech.

Got offers of borrowing his drive, tools etc too, so that's handy.

Pretty nice evening for sitting on opposite sides of the yard with a couple of drinks talking shite.
