Takes me back to how busy the old Snitz forum was on a Friday evening, everyone drinking I’m sure. Hope the head is ok today Newt 😄 Good ol' days, when I'd go to the pub, get trolleyed, then come home and jump on MSN and various forums Or more recently, Discord. We don't talk about me and Sundayjum...

I started driving later (mid 20s) so I don't really have any youthful exuberance stories, other than the usual "wow, understeer happens fast" sort of near misses.
VMAXing the works non-turbo diesel van (rev limited, about 80mph) is about as good as it got.

I mean, I think it'd look stupid on the road, but as a design, it's clear that whatever he was thinking, he fucking meant it. It's not half hearted, is it?

How about the oft rumoured trick of quoting on something like a Volvo V40/Mondeo/X-type etc? IE something that doesn't get spat into a ditch by teenagers on the regular....

Just to potentially save you the journey, Leicester is one of those places I don’t buy cars from now. Too many wasted trips to see misrepresented cars there - like Birmingham and High Wycombe. Sorry, decent sellers in these towns and cities; you may exist but sadly it’s not worth the effort to find...

Police snipers on motorway bridges. I was thinking more APCs armed with 20mm autocannons patrolling the roads, but that could also work as a backup option. That's why we love you, you're willing to reach a reasonable compromise. I like to think of myself as a generous, benevolent dictator. I mean, ...

Can we do something about lane discipline on the motorway ? Now I've started driving to work again (specifically I'm using the M4 from junctions 10-17) I'm reminded of this every time. There's regularly some muppet creating a rolling road block by sitting in the middle lane doing 67mph. Vote for me...
