Re: The idle dreaming “what next” thread.

Daily driver, and vaguely realistic: 650i GC (but for the N63 issues), CLS63 Shooting Brake, Infiniti FX50/QX70 5L V8. Garage toy to tinker with, possibly within the realms of realism (if it fits in the garage): Something old and Jap, in particular a Celica TA22 or 28 with something more interesting...

Re: F1 Thread

Yeah, Max was poor. DR had the beating of him today it seems and his defence was pretty dubious at times against him even before the shunt. What I couldn't understand was why RB didn't ask him to let DR through. It seemed to me that DR would have been quicker. I think they missed a chance there to ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Well the spring washer bodge by Kwik Fit didn't last long. I had the proper paperclip on order from Cotswold BMW anyhoo. Fitted by Darren Wood's on Sat morning when it went in for an oil service. In their usual top blokes way, they even fitted a replacement actuator that they had lying around, as it...

Re: Jealousy level - high.

Crikey Although I'd be intrigued to see how well you can manoeuvre in and out of those spaces. You typically need 5-6m of clear space behind a parking space to manoeuvre out. And that turning area at the entry appears to be a typical architect effort i.e. dump some turn templates on that don't refle...

Re: Commercial property for private use

In planning terms it will likely need to have B8 storage as a permitted use. Which an industrial unit likely will have. Not sure on business rates etc.

Re: What's wrong with yours?

Pad deposits are usually what people actually have when they think they've got warped discs.

It's the MEN. They were part of GMG and are now owned by Trinity Mirror. That probably tells you all you need to know about the quality of reporting.

Definitely not pad deposits? Would seem more likely than a balljoint, esp at that age.

Re: Your fleet running reports

330 now Hunter aligned, and all driving nicely again. Infiniti Stockport must think I'm daft as it's the 3rd time it's been to them in the last 4yrs or so. Bodged exhaust fix on the 125i didn't last long. Spring washer must've sprung out. I have the proper BMW paperclip on order for it, so hopefully...

If that means no longer having to hear a Spaniard impersonate an Italian accent maybe it wouldn't be such a bad thing

Best buns are light brioche burger buns - Google them. Well nice, but not been faffed to make them for years.

ETA - has to be proper ground mince from the butchers - not the garbage the supermarkets sell

Re: Apu in the Simpsons

Follow the logic further and no one will be allowed to impersonate anyone of a different race, nationality, or social standing.

As an aside, Penelope Cruz as Donnatella Versace in the recent Assassination of Gianni Versace was fooking appalling (in terms of accent obvs)

Re: New Tyres?

Just try camskill 1. Use black circles to identify a fitter that will put on internet-sources tyres 2. Call them up and get a price to fit. £10 per corner gets you a proper job ime. Anything less and they try to save time doing static instead of dynamic balance etc. 3. Buy from camskill 4. Put mone...

Why’s it so hard to make a flatter burger? Just use the same amount of meat in a bun/ roll which was baked for a small child. An XL Bacon doubleCceseburger from Burger King should be used as an appropriate template for burger size and shape. Some burgers are like having a huge meatball in a roll. D...

Replaced with F1 GSD3 to not match the GSD2s on the rear

Hunter alignment booked for tomorrow and then that's it for spending for a while (I hope)

Did you never have measles or mumps when you were a kid, or the separate vaccines? I never had MMR but either had the infections or separate jabs. I had measles, that was it. I just wondered why an adult would need the MMR vacc if they've had either the disease or separate vaccinations in their chi...
