Re: Cayman/Boxter RIP.

The whole USP of the 911 is having the engine in the wrong place. An EV could never replicate that driving experience. For that reason an EV "911" will never be a real 911. They should just kill it off. It will be interesting to see where they go with a 911 EV, a usable sports car like th...

Re: Cayman/Boxter RIP.

I wonder if they sacked off their sports cars altogether whether their SUV sales would be impacted much. How much of their SUV desirability comes from the sports car heritage? I reckon the Cayenne / Macan are sufficiently well established they could stand on their own. Make the Taycan the halo car,...

Re: 6 Nations

It was a great championship this year, so many fierce close games. From an England perspective I'm happy with it as a building year, feel like Borthwick has shown enough progression that it's not time to start worrying. I feel for Wales, they are obviously at the start of a new cycle. It is great fo...

Re: I used to be with "it"

I've lost count of the correct word to describe a muscular person. At various points it's been ripped, stacked, then it became hench, now I think it's something else. I'm too old for this shit. Although I rather enjoy acting like an old git, I'm spending quite a bit of time with people in their 20s ...

Re: Euromillions immediate purchase

I guess the same thing applies to hot tubs, my mate has got one and it was a great place to sit with a drink in the winter after a few beers out, I instantly wanted one. I just think it would end up being one of those things that you spend £££k getting a nice set up for, more £££ heating, just for t...

Wait for the interior... I don't think we can call that @Jobbo spec, but it's certainly some kind of spec!

Re: Euromillions immediate purchase

I’d personally prefer to have an orangery type structure, which houses a pool, hot tub, cold plunge and gym https://www.westburygardenrooms.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/pool-house-walled-garden-1024x576.jpg Similar to the above, but more ornate, and I’d want the option for everything to open at t...

The word 'here' implies that he's just taking about work on the forum. I only get paid in Revels for the work I do here, I trust it's the same for the rest of you?

Re: Confessions of a younger driver.....

When I first started work I was asked to move a boss's car, carpark was rammed (a site car park so not organised spaces, just a hardstanding with cars and vans everywhere). I managed to scrape (pretty slight) the car against another one when reversing into a tight spot. I was mortified, but fessed u...

Nice! It's fairly close to us; we're in Arlesey at the minute. But as WFH is more of a thing, being near a train station/A1 etc isn't as important as it once was. Ha, we're in Ickleford, give us a wave! :D Nice! Only a few miles away. Maybe we'll see you at one of the local meets when the weather i...

Re: 6 Nations

Been busy all weekend, managed to avoid the scores and watch the Eng vs Ire game this morning. Great game, can't help thinking that Ireland weren't at their best, but if was still great to see England showing a bit more ambition in attack. Looks the Italy vs Scotland was also a good game, although i...
