I'll still say PIAA super silicon are the best wipers I've had. Last for years, give the screen a hydrophobic coating, nary a squeak nor squeal, even in the depths of winter. I think the Mondeo needs the aircon regassing, and a new DMF would do it no harm but it far from needs one.

Yup, that's definitely worth it.

The whole series (The Baroque Cycle, IIRC?) is very readable and a lot of fun.
