Even drifting slowly, that's a hell of a force on the bridge and once it starts to go, all structural integrity is gone and it will always be a total collapse.
I wonder was there any sort of warning from the Ship bridge ?

Putin'll be blaming the Ukrainians...
It's pretty shocking footage to be fair - how long after the impact did the bridge collapse ?? I suppose it's fortunate it happened at 01:30 in the morning when traffic is lighter..

Re: The Movie Thread
Watched an old one on Saturday - Memento Mini-dinny is a big Nolan fan and he's ticking off some of the older ones (Insomnia is next - which I didn't really rate) It's very clever in the way it's constructed with the 2 timelines moving in different directions meaning we experience a similar lack of ...

Jesus - just back from a day of funeral stuff for an old friend to read this. I thought it was just normal ‘women stuff’ she was going through.
God love her. 42 years old and going through this. Bless her heart

Question - why is no one saying Hysterectomy ??
It’s pretty clear that’s what she had and would explain the public absence.

I have Virgin Full Fibre to the home which costs £33 per month. It's "Up to 900Mbps" with 450 guaranteed. I'm am getting about 480 over Wifi in the Living room where the router is. As that's where Sky and the Smart TV are, this is more than enough. I have a Vodaphone booster (which was fre...

Barbie Yes it's very funny in places but overall, despite the serious underlying message it was aiming to convey, it's light bubblegum film making at best and really didn't deserve any major award nominations. Not sure that all the fuss was over to be honest. 6 different versions of the word house ...

Been watching Full Swing on Netflix. Apparently it's the golf version of Drive to Survive - I've not watched Drive to Survive, but if it's anything like this, I might have to go and watch that as well. Makes you want to route for people in the show (well maybe not the ones who went off to LIV Golf)...

Again, the Hierarchy of Road Users
The cyclist is now responsible for noticing the pedestrian (particularly a vulnerable one) and alter their cycling to avoid this incident. Cyclist should have slowed and then there would have been no issue.
100% the cyclists fault
So burn him at the stake...

I have a really odd water hammer occurrence which started up a few months ago. Bathroom cold taps only. Turn on either cold then when you turn it off, you get the hammer for about 10 seconds. The upstairs tap also vibrates

Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé on Sunday.
Unsurprisingly mahooosive - I guess the driver had it on "TaxTheRich" settings because there must have been a good 5 or 6" gap in the wheel arches. Comfort mode really isn't necessary when driving around Milton Keynes.
