Silicon Valley Back for Season 5, and currently 3 episodes in It’s still funny, TJ Miller has left, which is a good thing. I’m guessing this season will follow how every season goes, but that’s ok. It’s like The Big Bang Theory, but not shit, and much less mass market. I don’t think it’ll age very ...

They’re all “edge” these days

You get S8 or S8 Plus (which is larger, which two camera lenses on the back)

Re: New shiny - Galaxy S8

Samsung’s own cases are great and pretty good value for money, as OEM accessories go My issue with Samsung is all the bloat they put on. For every Android app, there’s a Samsung version. It’s so pointless. And also, Samsung’s own versions are worse/less compatible with other things Also, I don’t car...

Re: Cat D cars

I think I’d want to know what the accident was! Though tbh, you could say the same of any used car - plenty have been involved in accidents and repaired without any evidence (and even some new cars). What the crash was, but also when If it was written off when pretty new, that’s a big old shunt. I ...

Re: The Watches Thread

https://youtu.be/iMc8USvO2cI Interesting video from Watchfinder Would you rather one nice watch (in this case a Rolex Submariner for £5.5k), or a collection of 3 “lesser” watches? It’s a great question. What do you guys think? For me, I prefer just one nicer watch. I’ve chosen something I like, and ...

Strange that Germany and the UK would have such different rules

2W to 3W is a huge % difference

I guess this’ll all be fixed after we leave the EU, just like powerful hoovers and filament bulbs...

I’m enjoying that it’s moving away from the comics more and more, but not enjoying how slow it is. Everything is so dark and glum. Emotion is flat. It’s shit. That said, ...

My golf has a bulb out. I could change it myself, but VW don’t charge labour on bulb changes, as long as you buy their 200% markup bulbs. Maybe worth it for the sake of grubby hands
