Truth is, I rarely bother to switch to the HD channels for sports/films, even when the option is one button press away.

Is that Spyder in a ditch Richard? Just goes to show, not eating beans is bad for your driving. ;)

Yes, I posted about it on here. Not impressed; the heat you’ve built up is let out by lifting the lid to put the pizza in.

Re: BBQs

We had some pizzas last night from a company called Pizza Pilgrim. They send you the ingredients (dough ready made etc) and instructions and they’re supposed to taste just like their restaurants pizza. You put the dough into a searing hot pan for a minute then another few mins in the oven. I was pr...

Didn’t the PS3 cost more? I remember it being ludicrously expensive at the time.

Re: PS5

GTA V will be released on PS5 - that must be a first for a game to come out across 3 platforms continuously (as opposed to endless remasters) but the graphics on that looked dated compared to the other trailers. I wish teenagers would stop paying for those shartcards so that Rockstar will pull thei...

Re: Protesting / Villains

I think the problem with this viewpoint Is that it falls in line with I don’t see race or all lives matter. (not that I’m saying this is what you think) It erases the heritage of people of different races. People want to be seen without being judged. "Not seeing colour" is a problem. We s...

Re: New BMW 4 series

I wonder how difficult it would be for BMW to make a euro spec grill for those of us who have eyes? In the grand scheme of things, it couldn't be that hard, surely all the the structure underneath could remain the same etc.

Make it a no cost option, and see who buys it. If anyone does.

Re: Protesting / Villains

It will be nice when we don't have to have terms like BAME at all. Being black should be the same as having blue eyes, in that it's a visual feature of one's genetic heritage, and nothing more. Re: The Movie Thread

We watched The Predator (2018) yesterday. It follows Predator 2, ignoring the other films like the AVP films.

It was surprisingly pretty good. Action. Sci-Fi. Shooting. Punching. Humour. Everything I look for in a brain out action film. I'd very recommend it.

I've just recently watched the first two seasons of The Wire. I've enjoyed it. Not sure it's the greatest TV that's ever been, but its pretty good.

Doing a Pub Quiz is fun, especially if you make it specific. My main group of friend have been close since school/college so we have a lot of friendship lore/history to draw from.
