Re: The ebay thread

I'm sure the seller is right when he says it turns heads, but I'm not sure he understands why.

Re: Movie scene & music combo

Yeah, we used to record it (and a show called Passengers that was also randomly on at about 2am.) I Wonder if it’s avaiable anywhere now and whether it stands up to viewing again? I suspect it doesn't. The show hasn't changed (I assume), but I'm not a teenager anymore, so I'll leave it to the memor...

What is the full spec? Looks lovely. The Bosch AHS 45-16 corded hedge trimmer is lightweight yet powerful with a 420 W motor, ideal for smaller sized hedges It has a 45 cm diamond ground blade with a 16 mm tooth opening for a clean, precise cut. Its ergonomic and lightweight design make it comforta...

Tour of Duty (or "Platoon B" as it was mysteriously renamed in Denmark) was a staple for the teenage me.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Galaxy has suffered a major malfunction. The little plastic tab that holds the lid closed on the washer fluid filler neck broke off when I filled it up yesterday. Sticky tape bodge in place while I source a replacement. Polish the MAF mate, no other option left now. Has it come to this? I guess I'l...

Proper 4x4 van. Not the shonky unreliable LR bollocks.

Ideally a Sprinter.

Movie scene & music combo

Spurred on by the two elder DJlets always commenting on the point in the Frozen soundtrack where the ship sinks, I got to thinking about what movie scenes I always see in my mind's eye when I hear the music. The number one for me is the death of sergeant Elias in Full Metal Jacket. The (fully intend...

Re: Your fleet running reports

What engine? 316i sadly. Although it's actually 1895cc. AFAIK 316i & 318i were essentially the same, then the 318ti was a twin-cam. I've been keeping an eye out for a silver 318ti Sport with no sunroof and there's not many around. Easy engine swap. Or a six-pot conversion.... Aim higher, if you...
