Re: Euromillions immediate purchase
That's why I like the pop-up pool - when I get bored in a few years I can take it to the tip and it's as if it was never there.

Re: The House Projects Thread
That's an interesting time to start - I guess it had to be squeezed in after the unplanned adjournment but the judge clearly does not expect it to take too long.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
No sympathy for the cyclist there. If he had been driving a car and two lanes merged into one, do you think he'd have sat directly alongside another car? Idiot. Then stopping in the middle of the road to bring the car to a halt and remonstrate with the driver - does he think he's a mild version of K...

Re: Euromillions immediate purchase
I wouldn't bother with an outdoor swimming pool here, let alone Ireland! I don't much like an indoor pool - the atmosphere gets rather humid and there's a lot of pleasure to be had from being in an outdoor pool on a sunny day. You're definitely not going to use it all year round, but I think I'd qu...

23” wheels* Matty - bling bling.
As noted by mik, that includes the tyres.

Re: Lads
Did you get to raid the fellows’ port cellar? I did that once but it was many years ago and I think they’ve become less generous.

Re: Your fleet running reports
It does have a cup holder! I wouldn’t say it is decent necessarily - it is just a circular indent moulded into the bodywork. But I will work out which beer receptacles fit

New sporty red toy has arrived. https://i.imgur.com/7E8cxy3.jpg It has a V-twin but does not sound like a Ducati. Maybe needs an Akrapovic. The key looks very easy to bypass with a screwdriver; Lock Picking Lawyer would not consider it terribly secure so it is obviously now locked in the garage. Loo...

Re: The (mainly city-focussed) anti-car movement
Mike, I think that's missing the point. If they want to promote cycling then why not promote the type of cycling which many people do throughout the UK? I don't want to spend my weekends riding around on the ratty old 50p bike I used to own; that was for a purpose (leaving outside pubs, mainly).

Re: The (mainly city-focussed) anti-car movement
What am I missing here?? That the selection aren’t top end expensive bikes but a more mundane selection? Or they’re expensive bikes and not a Bromham folding bike? I haven’t had my coffee yet this morning so not firing on all cylinders yet but I don’t get it…🤷🏻 That they're expensive and quite spec...

Re: The (mainly city-focussed) anti-car movement
Where are all the 'Win a Car' competitions offering a Kia Cee'd or Ford Focus, eh? Fucking stupid comment. When I lived in Oxford I used to keep a second bike which I paid 50p for (probably not from the true owner, but it had been lying around for some years and I paid in good faith). It was a bit s...

Or an MG exhaust trim? Eh? I don’t think he has *that* claim to fame.
RIP to an absolute legend. What a body of work. What a legacy.

What you need is a small industrial unit which is below the business rates threshold. Commercial premises tend not to be quite as pricey as residential land unless they have potential for conversion I would imagine that unit is into business rates being payable territory. Add on the expense of busin...
