MX5 owners

They are a special breed.

This is from the FB MX5 group

"Hi guys and gals!
Today Mazda service told me to replace my disc and pads on my mx5 2017 icon only the front one. Can this be right? I thought the mx5 brakes were on the back ?
Thanks"

Re: Flightradar24 fans

Horrendous aircraft accident in Japan, looks to be a collision on the runway between two aircraft.

Re: Car Plans 2024

I only bought the mx5 in May so that won't be going anywhere. The Panda 4x4 has barely turned a wheel since I've had the mx5 but winter is on the way! We are thinking of changing my wife's Focus but she only works in the office one day a week so it rarely gets used, 6 years old and 18000 miles on t...

Re: Ebay AI Descriptions

This reminded me of this thread "This stunning Volkswagen Beetle is a classic car lover's dream! With only 36,000 miles on the clock, this hatchback is in excellent condition and has been well maintained over the years. Its beautiful pink exterior is sure to turn heads, making it the perfect ad...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I know nothing about any of their problems or foibles but out of that list I'd have the 135i for no other reason than it reminds me of the old school RWD hot hatch era, Chevette HS, Lotus Sunbeam etc.

Re: HC you miserable bunch

I've been visited by Father Covid  I've had a really bad cough over Christmas that was almost making me throw up at some points, not nice at all. We've been away for Christmas so when we got home I did the test and there in all its glory was the positive result. My wife also decided to do the ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Motorhome passed the MOT with no advisories. Just over 3000 miles covered since the last one which is more than I've done in the mx5

Re: The Watches Thread

Resizing complete.

The screws were tiny but with a good jeweller's screwdriver plus an illuminated desk magnifying glass to help my old eyes, it wasn't too bad.

Re: The Watches Thread

I've got a set of screwdrivers that go down to the correct size so that should be ok. Youtube has thrown up a couple of videos and the main thing that I have learnt is don't drop the screws :?

Re: The Watches Thread

Well it's arrived and I'm very happy with it and it seems to have had very little use. I'm not looking forward to sizing the bracelet though as the screws are the tiniest that I've ever seen and there are two for each pin.

Re: The Watches Thread

Given how bullish the watch market is, I'd be immediately sceptical of something that's significantly cheaper than it should be There is no need for the seller to be selling that much under market, so why are they? The watch market has cooled considerably over the last few months so that could be a...

List is £5350 and used they are normally advertised for 3-4k.

Size is 40mm so not at all as large as it looks on photos.
