Re: Definitely for sells BMW M140i
That's a fucking lot of car for £21k. Wish the timing was better for me.
Re: 6 Nations
Managed to catch the England game as well, thought we looked broadly coherent and discipline was better than it has been. Love Italy's ambition, they've got a nice style to them, but defensively apart from a few spells we were able to push them back behind the gain line when they tried to go through...

Re: I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords
Only side note is that the Chinese surveillance balloon was very high and quite big, the other two were in the air traffic altitude so surely would have always been detected, which makes them a bit more of a conundrum.

Re: I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords
I have been watching this story with interest, but I don't think they'd have been quite so fast and loose with the media stories if it wasn't anything interesting. In truth probably just surveillance, and while it's clever that they've seemingly been getting away with it for a long time, surely they...
Re: New car!
Looks superb, excellent purchase.
Re: 6 Nations
Finally managed to catch a game (Sco vs Wal), first half I thought there were some really basic errors from both teams (particularly Wales, back foot offside from an attacking scrum is unforgivable). Second half Scotland found another gear though. It seems like Scotland have gone from a team that pl...

Re: A celebration of well filled arches
Let's settle this debate once and for all, both the Pantera and Countach need wings. Pantera can get away with not having one, but it's essential on a Countach.
Now we've cleared that up, let's move on to the thread at hand. #topicclosed #endof #fact

This is a good shout, I did one of these and it was a great laugh for the cost. Watch out though, you might want a 7 after you do one!

Re: M3 Touring
Weirdly I have a thing for the S500 coupe, I don't know what it is, it's got some sort of presence (I guess just because it's massive!).

You've been saying that a lot lately. Seems I'm getting more wrong!
I think I also prefer most of them in saloon guise TBH.

Depends on which one for me, E90 was much cooler looking than E92 IMO.

Re: Bye Bye Liz...
It really doesn't matter what you or I think, if the market doesn't like a policy then it won't work.
LT has zero economic credibility either way. The only thing she's doing is more damage to her already wrecked party right now.
Re: 6 Nations
@McSwede
I was out with friends with no interest in rugby so sadly the 6N hasn't really started for me yet. I did get a "are you watching this shit" message from one of my mates so assume England were poor.

Re: Strikes
And that's where a lot of nurses end up. In private jobs, or working for nurse banks and agencies, being hired back by the NHS on twice the rate they'd be getting from the NHS. Indeed, and the upshot of that will be that the NHS needs to pay more salary to save money on these hired in rates and att...
Re: Strikes
Ideally market forces dictate pay for all and it's fair, but there are not private sector equivalents for some roles (probably most though!) in which case I guess their only option is to strike. :? Exactly, how does a teacher negotiate a better salary without striking? Market forces are shit at pro...
Re: Strikes
Certainly each one has different circumstances and merits. Some of the salaries you see in these sectors surprise you by how much they are on for the level of skill needed, and some look really low. I don't think strike action is a great negotiating tool really, if the gov give in to it in one case ...
