I agree with all the non refreshed sleeping people in this thread, an interesting experiment may be required with this CBD stuff.
I hate waking up as I feel worse than when I went to bed most of the time, changing timezones frequently doesn't help I guess though.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I think if I did get one it would have to be a REX, but that won't solve the big ginger dog fitting into the boot issue I think I'd have. I think my biggest issue is now I've no idea what else to look at. I was given a list of it needing to be Automatic, heated steering wheel and front screen, all/f...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I like the idea of an i3 as a runabout but wifey is very attached to her MINI. Got linky to i3 ? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202310203195678 That's the one I went to look at, the passenger door has two big compressions in it, and the panels are pressed carbon or plastic so can't be repa...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I3 I found has sold  Will have to have another look to see what's out there, pretty sure that's what I want now. Hadn't sold now apparently, they were updating the advert, off to see it at 11, hopefully it's as clean as it looks, has suite interior pack, storage pack, business nav, aux heatin...

Re: Your fleet running reports
They do look good. But don't bother asking for a drive; even the hard-top version drove like crap  I'm definitely going to try it, why wouldn't I ?? It's called "doing your own research". Back to my fleet, voltage regulator removed yesterday to confirm required part number, it appear...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I still miss my Saab, it was a superb do everything car. I'd like a cabrio one day, they look a great Sunday car for wafting about in on nice days, wouldn't be upset about the handling, as long as it has the power to get past dawdlers, which all the turbo ones should, it would be fine 8-) Off to see...

Re: Have you EV’d?
I have PHEV? And I think will soon also have an EV. I enjoy the quietness of the PHEV, mainly due to the double glazing, makes driving long distances very relaxing, even with the engine on, you can't hear it unless at WOT. The instant torque is handy, the remote start and scheduling of normal set of...

Re: British Ryanairways...
Boston/Mass has always been a lot better to visit than NY for me, the general vibe of the place, the bars, Fenway, Faneuil Hall, Treehouse, Bissell Bros, there's so much to do that's not always over busy. The best day out I've ever had in NY was when we went Buffalo hunting, and tried Buffalo wings ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
RR doesn't seem to have any way of checking - every time I go onto that screen it just says "oil level not available" so I guess I default to the warning light :? Our D4 had a similar "electronic dipstick", but from memory - if you get the above you need to switch the engine off...

I too have played Starfield much more than Forza
This wasn't the case when 7 came out, it was a big step up in driving, this is a bit frustrating to say the least.

Re: Any recommendations for winter tyres?
Not winters but I've had Crossclimates, Crossclimate 2s, and Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons on the V60. Didn't get stuck in the snow once, and I live up a single track unpaved road in a village which is up a very big hill. The Crossclimates were softer, and better on Ice than the Goodyear's, but worse in...

Re: Forza Motorsport
I've been enjoying it so far (Series X with G923? Wheel).
Force feedback needs work, can't feel grip/slip, no real feel of weight, just resistance.
Sounds are decent, graphics are good, the waiting to upgrade cars until a certain level is stupid.

Re: DSG mechatronic - advice req
I presume they checked this, but a blown fuse can fire that fault code.
30a fuse for J743 DCT control unit.
If you replace it and it goes again if confirms the control unit has failed, just a sense check before spending loads!

Re: Your fleet running reports
I think if it doesn't fully straddle a speed bump, and it's noticeable when you go over them, enough of the tyre is in contact to spread the load, and probably just wear out the lower arm bushes by pushing the arms apart instead  If they only just touch the bump, then this happens, I reckon the...

Re: Your fleet running reports
100% that's island speed bumps sadly.
Best going over them as a pair than going over the actual island if you can, I used to see so many examples of that
