Re: Randomness

Why wait politely, when you can deploy your 400 horses to spank it up the inside and get ahead of the dawdlers. Is of course correct (258 horses here though :( ). However, in some situations where that options has already been blocked off, you can't go wrong with a bit of "I'm coming across re...

Re: The Weather Thread.

Just been out to dropn the boy at school and it was a pleasant 15C. House felt like a fecking oven when I got back though - easily 25C downstairs. I might have to get in the loft at this rate and crack the skylight open to release some of the stored heat in the roof space.

And then you use it as a weight somewhere, doorstop etc.

Its £10 on Wickes so not like it's much more if any cost than silicone and should last longer

Sort of, yes. We've been before in June 11yrs ago, and it was nowhere near 42C - maybe high 30s. And yet the strength of the sun was mind-boggling. You absolutely couldn't stand still for long. Makes you wonder why TF we booked this time to go at hte very hottest time of the year when even the local...

Re: Bye Bye Boris!

Sunak has to be pretty high up on the list of worst person to be PM just now tbh, even among other conservatives he comes off as hugely privileged and out of touch with how most people are lving. And this is what I don't get though. THere's an election coming in the not-too-distant future. MPs seem...

Re: Bye Bye Boris!

It's going to be Sunak or Truss isn't it?

I bet Conservative Party Members will be wishing they had a none of the above choice. Both have been consistently very low down any polls of CP members for choice of next party leader.

Are you even a man if you don't own a Titan SDS drill? Had mine 10yrs. Only used it about 4 times  Bought it when we moved in, so I could break out the concrete fence posts along the front boundary, to put a hedge in. It was cheaper than hiring so why wouldn't you? Most recent use was realising...

The Boys Season 3 Consistently entertaining, sometimes staggeringly violent and occasionally jaw-droppingly ludicrous in varied, absurd ways. The whole cast is strong but Antony Starr (who plays Homelander) is a treasure, playing a character who goes from full cringe to (in context) absolutely, gen...

Might as well ask in here - recommendations for a ceramic egg-type BBQ? Anyone got one/used one?

I've had my eye on them for a while as a replacement for our tired old Spectrum Flamer. Anything else I should be looking at also/instead of?

While it's a possibility, I think there's a real risk that it'll be Jeremy Cunt, I mean Hunt. He does seem to have the crucial Teflon properties that make for a hardy PM... The last few years (Brexit, Trump etc) has taught me to think of the most ridiculously dumb option, and then expect that ...Na...
