Re: Tesla Cyberpuke
Who possibly saw that coming? Everyone reads all the small print before buying anything from an Elon Musk company don't they?
Re: EV Thread
So, under Scottish building regulations, I have to get a 7kw EV charging point put in to the new house. I can't just pre-wire it ready for one in years to come depending on how the tech develops and if we ever end up needing one. Is there a good buying guide to these things, or any personal recommen...

Re: Harry’s Garage
Interesting vid. I think he mentioned a couple of week's ago that the CDE of the RR Sport made a big difference to the mpg figures compared with some of the other similar cars he'd been driving. Can't believe the monthlies are £500 or so cheaper for a Sport over a RR though. I don't mind that red/or...

Re: Decent car YouTubes
A new, early Harrys Garage video is up, which is all about why he's gone back to a diesel car and covers many of the issues around EV and PHEV cars both new and secondhand.

I didn't realise it's been that long either - last update on the Lego thread was months ago too. Hopefully he's just going better things to be doing than updating us, hope all is good with him.

Re: Apple Vision Pro
Yeah, I expect for practical work usage, VR will be like touch screen monitors. Quite useful Now and then, but ultimately way more effort than a mouse. I was talking to a dev I know who's flown to NYC to get his one and he has been working from his hotel room with his laptop and headset. You can co...

Re: Apple Vision Pro
Its cool. As a tech nerd, that would be the only reason for buying one of these just now. Its going to be really interesting to see what devs do with it and if this is the beginning of something new or if it just fizzles out or becomes something different.

Re: Apple Vision Pro
Mito Man has summed it up. They are the best version of this idea that's ever been shipped, but the more I read about it, the more I think it's raising questions about what the use case is for these. Watching movies on these looks absolutely epic. I'd 100% see myself doing that on a long flight or ...

Mr & Mrs Smith on Prime is pretty good fun. Its lacking a certain "something" which I can't quite put my finger on, but its way better than the movie.

What a legend! Rocky and Predator, Action Jackson...
Was great to see him in The Mandalorian recently. His turn in Arrested Development was also genius.
RIP.

I like the look of that Senna one, although if they bring out a series of classic F1 cars like that, I'm going to need another shelf.
Looks like my Dune Ornithopter has shipped, I forgot I'd ordered that.

What's the most reliable cameras and system for an outdoor setup these days? We have Ring cameras at the current house and compared to Hikvision ones, they are utterly bombproof and the software is great, albeit I have to pay Amazon for storage. With the next house being built from scratch, I can en...

Not blaming the cyclists in any way but as a vulnerable road user i wouldnt be going for the ninja stealth look  This is one of my pet peeves. They get very indignant about it too if you ask why. I've had arguments about it where they have no interest or even sense of responsibility about maki...

Re: Z4 Manuel
That's a handsome looking car
Nice colour combo too, stick a set of frozen gold alloys on it and you're sorted.
Interested to hear if anyone has driven a Z4 recently, especially one with a decent amount of bhp.
