Re: iRacing pretend racing against real racing drivers
I pitted for repairs and came back out in twenty something, I was having a lot of fun clawing my way back up and got to 15th before a backmarker drove in to me and terminally damaged the car so that was that.
Better make sure I start the next one out in front.

Re: What is your resting heart rate?
I was indeed 40 in February so I’m an old fucker now.
I guess everyone’s heard the old 220 minus your age thing before but without doing any actual research isn’t that just a rough guide for average joes that don’t get much exercise or something? I’m not dead anyway so it’s clearly fine.

Re: What is your resting heart rate?
my usual resting rate is low 50's, it goes up and down a few beats depending how much exercise i do but its pretty stable. I started pushbiking with a group that are much much fitter than me as well which naturally made me get a bit fitter, but that's why I end up with a heart rate of 200, trying to...

Re: Harry’s Garage
But given that electric cars are no good for cruising at 70mph and most of their journeys are stop start around town stuff then weight is one of the biggest issues isn't it. Trying to accelerate a 3 tonne piece of shit from a stand still is a fair bit harder than something half the weight.

Re: No F1 thread?
I'd be very surprised if Lewis left the best team on the grid to join the team he's beaten every year. Maybe after he's got another couple of titles.

Re: iRacing pretend racing against real racing drivers
I regularly race the radical in iRacing so I applied to join this when it was announced. They're running the series for the regular real life radical racers who have nothing to do so 35 of those are automatically in. They ran a pre-qualifying session for nobodies off the internet which I was quickes...

iRacing pretend racing against real racing drivers
I raced a field of 35 real life radical racers this afternoon and won, which was nice.

Re: Expensive Start to the racing season
Its never a rod bolt failure although thats what people love putting it down to. The bolt will have failed as a result of the rod welding itself to the crank more than likely. It'll be oil starvation or they didn't tighten the rod bolts up. For example, honda k20 rod bolts are 22lb ft +90 degrees. I...
