Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Mine was that age and cycling in the road but…. Dave! Would you have let them do it on a suburban London street where most of the drivers will not be local to that area, many looking at social media rather than the road ahead, and the remainder focused on 20mph cameras that now go off at 23mph? I w...

Re: Your fleet running reports
The TT felt funny just as I came off the M25 to Gatwick, got to the long stay car park and the tyre is pretty much flat. Arse, thatll be a nice job at 9pm tomorrow night, fingers crossed it doesn’t rain.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Mine was that age and cycling in the road but…. I told him when to stop and go, we talked about where he should be when in the car leading up to it, I talked through everything I was looking at when cycling and it was dry on a relatively low traffic area. Rules are rules but there is no reason to be...

Kathy Griffin for one. It used to be if you impersonated someone you'd get a temp restriction, believe now it's a perma ban. And any display name change = no blue tick. Which has only started since people started ripping Musk. MuskBans.jpg Private platform, he can do what he likes. So someone prete...

Re: Twitter
Have they confirmed the amount of bots that were on there yet ? As it’s widely accepted that the Twitter folk lied like mad about them but I’ve seen them say 5% and must say 80% so I’m guessing it’s somewhere in the middle.

Re: Your fleet running reports
At the time I picked the correct car, for me it was basically between a Defender, old 90’s G Wagon (which had 90 bhp) and an ex military Hummer H1 (iirc these can’t tow very much). No idea why I like old army based shite  I still want to scratch the Hummer itch but I can’t imagine I’d be able ...

Re: The resurgence of vinyl
I still have my pristine boxed Sony WM-EX618 cassette Walkman from 1996, wondering if cassettes will ever have a resurgence. People are asking up to £200 for them on eBay now, up from about £70 when I last checked a couple of years ago, but I bet nobody is buying. Tape is coming back as a format bu...

Re: The resurgence of vinyl
Streaming is just so convenient that my thousands of CDs went in to the loft years ago and I ripped most of it in to mp3 so I have all my bootlegs and random stuff on there too. I still really like sitting down and listening to an album from start to finish, reading the liner notes, lyrics etc so a...

Re: Mutiny over the Bounty
Due to the size of the minature bounty the moistness and coconut to chocolate ratio is all wrong rendering a normally wonderful sweet treat a dry shitty mess.
Bounty must go, the leftover coconut can be put into correct normal sized ones.

... and he's passed! No more constant taxi service and he can now pick my wife and I up from the pub as payback for our amazing tuition. He was doing it in his own car which of course has been sounding rough this morning and took two goes to start which added to my stress. He's had a few lessons th...

Re: Your final internal combustion engined car
Aye, I was talking about this with a mate who's a driving instructor last week. There's definitely going to be a point when learning to drive a manual will be seen as archaic but we're not there yet. Bring on Archaic, I now see why my Grandad kept saying “why is everyone in such a rush when there i...
Re: Gout
Meat with every dinner, red meat at least 50% of that, I drink when I’m away but only with Sunday roast etc during my off period. At least 7 pints of milk a week and cheese most days.
