Re: Just eats/Uber eats/deliveroo
Just Eat definitely have their own delivery people in London. Also - the riding standards of all these delivery riders going along pavements at high speed on their e-bikes is shockingly bad.

Re: Just eats/Uber eats/deliveroo
Probably around ten times at this point. The food often doesn't travel well though and it's more expensive so I only do it when I've nothing to cook and don't have the energy to go out.

Re: The Watches Thread
No one impressed enough by anything released at Watches and Wonders to post about it? I think the Black Bay 54 (37mm, design based on the 1954 Tudor/Rolex Submariner) looks great. I'm sure it will be too small for most people, but for me the smaller the better when it comes to watches. But there's b...

Literally only realised just now when I saw this thread. I did think it strange that I slept in later than usual but just put it down to being tired and sleeping well.

Re: Cars which have aged well - first BMW Z4
SAT Leon MK2 still looks quite fresh for being 18 years old. https://www.km77.com/media/fotos/seat_leon_2005_1865_1.jpg Was going to suggest an Avantime at 22 years old but the headlights age it. Looks good from other angles though. https://tcct.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/renault_avantime_86-sc...

Re: Are there any turbine-style wheels that look better
Yeah the 993 Turbo has similar looking wheels, they have more of a twist in the spokes though. https://www.stratstone.com/-/media/stratstone/spotlight/porsche-933-turbo/porsche-911-993-turbo-1920x774px.ashx There's a 993 in the spec very similar to below (but with darker colour wheels) that seems t...

0 I haven't had a TV for over three years now. Just watch shows on my laptop or phone.

Re: 2022 review / 2023 plans
I normally end up writing a book in this thread so going to keep it short this year. 2020 was mostly uneventful thankfully. Had holiday plans cancelled and struggled a bit working from home in a small shared london flat, but thankfully still have a job so can't complain. My main goal for this year ...

Re: The Watches Thread
Bought a cheap Nato strap from Archer Straps via Amazon for about £13. After a week it's already started to fray. Any recommendations for something better? (I remember Bark & Jack being previously recommended but their website is closed due to postal strikes) Very happy with my Bark and Jack on...

Just a reminder that in the thread that won me the Jorg Gray watch everyone mocked me for suggesting that driving a Tizzy might be fun

Don't think we had an ECOTY thread this year? Their video has gone up now - a good watch as usual.

Re: The Watches Thread
Interested to hear what they're like to live with. Are you keeping the velcro strap on or replacing it with something else? Moonswatches with leather straps have been popping up alot on my Instagram feed recently, I don't think that works for me but they look good with NATO or other fabric straps.

Re: The Watches Thread
I used to be into the Alpinist but have kind of gone off it in recent years - feels bad saying that though as it's a watch I still want to love. Looks very ungainly to me in photos, but I suspect it would look better in reality (haven't seen one in person yet). I think I prefer the non-compass versi...
Re: Trump
I think Trump is getting desperate. He's been pushing a big announcement lately. Speculation in the right has been that he's going to run for US speaker of the house, or become a democrat, or come back to twitter. Nah. It's NFTs. He's pushing NFTs. I'm not even joking. https://twitter.com/EverydayW...
