Re: FTAO of the weegies

I think this lot used to be a TWS franchise that I used in East Kilbride a few years ago.

Re: No F1 thread?

I nearly wrote a post yesterday saying I disagreed with what people were saying about Bottas and I thought he had come out fighting (Top in Q1 & Q2) and that he seemed more on it than usual. I would have looked like a hero today if I had. He’s laid down a marker. This could be a tense season. L...

I’m really not sure who I should be aiming “aviatiown3d” at yet.

Can someone let me know when things pan out a bit more clearly?

Re: Meeting cancellations

I simply fail to turn up, ask that any calls from the attendee be put to voicemail and hide until I’m reasonably confident the person has left the building.

I then send an email asking where they are as I’ve been waiting on them for quite some time.

Works a treat.

I see Harris sadly regressed to his overly twitchy, gurning presenting style during the GT2RS piece.

Conversely, I quite enjoyed the Bentley section.

That interior is fantastic and I’m not even joking. Light poplar was one of my favourite trims on the E46.

Porsche drivers - absolutely zero sense of humour. You should join YK and Marv for a run, we had a right laugh  Ross had been on a Highland run with me, YK and Duncs... He's been invited to subsequent Highland runs wth us, and hasn't taken up the invite 😂 Only as a result of circumstance, not ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

This has reminded me that I happened across a 991.2 yesterday whilst giving the Exige a wee run out. It was white, but unfortunately with full Martini livery meant it looked awful. Anyway, it pulls up beside me at traffic lights leading on to the slip road for a dual carriageway. Driver blips the th...

Yes, albeit definitely NOT longer than a Stagea.

Re: Your fleet running reports

The thing with the standard Evora is in the metal it looks like it's got a cap on, as the roofline is quite bulbous over the dark glass/pillars/sail panel (know I know what that bit is called!). If you look at a standard Evora over an SR-packed one, the latter looks much sleeker, especially on whit...

It looks and sounds dreadful, and it seems the factory tendering issue was a bit of a shambles.

I think I’d be looking elsewhere by this point too.

I wouldn't advise a client that they had a termination clause if it amounted to "you can get out of this contract if the other party agrees with you to replace it with something else". Its the same point as lawyers that draft in that a provision can be changed "with the consent of bo...

Re: 48 Hours with a McLaren 600LT

Whilst I absolutely adore these and it sounds like you enjoyed your time with it, that really isn’t the strongest spec colour wise.

I know why they’ve done it, but orange with the blue callipers and silver wheels looks quite jarring at best, or more than a little aftermarket at worst.

I see we peer pressured you into the cup 2s, YK ;) Given that there was an absolutely night and day difference between brand new Pirelli P Zeros that had done 2,000 miles and the MPS4Ss I replaced them with, you should notice a stunning difference swapping to the cups. I’m sure you’re let us know y...

Golf - in for first service. It appears VW supplying dealer has made an arse of setting the car up for the long life servicing plan even though that’s what it’s supposed to be on. Have asked dealer to switch to across to this so I don’t have to service again before handing it back. It’ll need new ty...

Re: BMW Welt and Museum ja das ist gut

Was here at the weekend. The Frank Stella 3.0 CSL and the 328 Superleggera completely stole the show for me.

Thoroughly recommended and a great way to spend a couple
of hours.
