Trés cool 8-)

Think Swerve has a point though - doesn't seem to be enough space to easily manoeuvre cars around.....maybe it's all motorbikes?

Re: Worst case of 40mph everywhere folk

My cousins husband (cousin in-law?) in the Philippines told me that when he turned up to collect his driving license (you don't have to do a practical test  ) they asked if he wanted a motorbike license too, so he paid the tiny bit extra and walked away with a car license and a bike license. Th...

Re: Worst case of 40mph everywhere folk

That's a good point OC - we have to prove our cars are road worthy every year* through an MOT, why not our driving?

Is there any countries around the world, which make drivers take a test regularly though?

Yep, issue 248 is the last one for me. Same as Mik really, no pleasure in letting my subs end. Used to read the whole mag and and was delighted when a new subs issue arrived on a Saturday morning. These days, I barely read a few articles. I also blame too many other distracting things, like youtube,...

 You guys love to make up a reason to have an argument. I just find the universe fascinating, I don't believe anything one way or another other than that no human being knows or can know one way or another at this stage in our development. Things tend towards order , and logic, which in itself...

Re: Your fleet running reports

My Porsche has broken down fewer times ;) At least it didn't strand you in a less than desirable location. Sounds like it wasn't too difficult to fix, just a shame it too so long for your break down service company to turn up. Anyway, M3 passed it's MOT today, so it's all ready now for its road trip...

Re: New shiny - Galaxy S8

I've had a OnePlus 3T for about 18 months now, and really rate it. It's a great phone: super-fast, really smooth, amazing battery/charging, and superb value for money. But I've decided that it's just too big for me... I've been looking around for something to change to, but there's nothing that rea...

Re: Hybrid batteries

Not news I know, but the Panamera is going quite a bit further on battery alone, now that the weather is warmer. My morning commute is 19 miles. A40 dual carriageway then country roads and through villages. During the winter, the engine would activate towards the end of the dual carriageway bit, th...

It's a silly thing to do - it tends to be the same price difference up front as paying for it later, but if you do fewer miles you don't get a refund.
That's a good point Simon, I didn't look at it that way.

Re: Porsche can’t deliver new cars in the UK

Strange that Germany and the UK would have such different rules 2W to 3W is a huge % difference I guess this’ll all be fixed after we leave the EU, just like powerful hoovers and filament bulbs... Oh, without a doubt. Huh? leaving the EU will sort out a British restriction of 2w, when the pesky Ger...

Same, same. I love my CTEK too.

I do half think the blinky LEDs prematurely go orange/red though....but they are set to illuminate at certain voltages, so they're obviously always correct...whereas I'm not.

Ford Transit T350 I had some holiday to use up recently, so decided to spend some of it tackling a few problems with the Transit van. It seems like during its previous life with a power company it spent a lot of time in the mud, most of which was still in there under the carpet. https://i.imgur.com...
