Re: Your fleet running reports
Defender - runs lovely still but needs a few jobs now after years of abuse. Drivers side rear chassis leg has a bit of rot by the spring hanger which I need to decide how to repair. Either a good patch or a chassis leg. 236,000 miles. ML500 - going well and still enjoying it. A slight noise upon sta...

Monster Jam in Cardiff on Saturday with the kids. I think, no, I AM more excited than they are! Forgot you went to this. Took the kids, the pit pass wasn’t worth it but the event was awesome! My eldest was knackered so fell asleep after the races but my youngest was doing the 80s fist pump at the s...

Maybe he did it to this particular issue as it would gain him more of an audience for his issue with the voting?
I fear it backfired.

3 humans, 2 dogs, a few birds, one of which made my car overheat as it’s remains blocked and cooked a big part of my radiator. A Hare did my front grill, lower grill, headlamp was her and dented the bonnet on my 405. A guy at work ended up with an arm in his ex Postal van from a biker who was mid cr...

That makes me want to take the Defender back but this time get into Russia.
It really is worth the final stretch to get to Nordkapp but that Rolls did brilliantly.
His videos just keep getting better.

No, I once went to a Warhammer shop when I was young with some Space Crusader models I’d painted. Even though I went there on rollerblades and was wearing knee pads I was the coolest person in the store. I learned quickly that they should be avoided.

I forgot about that.NotoriousREV wrote: ↑Sun May 20, 2018 8:35 amI’m not convinced about the whole “cars built before 1978 don’t need an MOT” thing.
They should definitely have an annual MOT but I thought that came into affect a while back ?

I feel that we are less social, more judgemental and moody than 10 years ago. I want to be a policeman so I can tell idiots how they are doing it wrong. A lot of youths are wannabe gangsters with a fluffy lady beard. I’m an old fart who doesn’t understand the absolute need for instant gratification....

Re: Adios manuel
If I didn’t have to drive the Defender or TT I’d chop my left leg off to save weight and use a Segway. I drive my Defender more than any other car. Mainly as you are always doing something by changing gear and having to plan ahead. I love my 500e and ML but that’s for big journeys or with the family...

Re: Adios manuel
people want to do more than drive. Which is why everyone is an app or phone connectivity away from a distraction and accident. Seemingly people can’t pull away from a petrol station without popping a phone in a cradle, pressing a multitude of buttons and then staring at it while pulling away. They t...

We are semi detached to a rental property so have had 4 people live there since we moved in 8 years ago. Lovely lady with 2 kids. Quiet but would chat when you met her. She left to buy a house but was the best neighbour. Members of a Lithuanian Rock band. He was a hen pecked guy who was permanently ...

Re: Avengers: Infinity War SPOILER THREAD!
Well that was disappointing. The blacksmith scene was ridiculous. Re-start a sun by pulling these levers, that’s handy. The giant would have given some more convincing acting if he had said Fee Fi Fo Fum and casting the mega weapon in all of 2 minutes seemed such poor story telling. Thanos was a gre...

So I want to do a repair on a hydraulic line in the 500e, so that I can use it as the family bus while I fix the tailgate fault on the ML. This is after some recent Flewy work on the Defender. So the sun is shining and because it’s the best on fuel I take the TT to my parents garage where I keep the...

Re: The idle dreaming “what next” thread.
New M5 is 1.2s quicker to 100mph than a stock RS6 Rich. Autocar tested it in damp conditions and compared it to dry Audi figures so it might be even quicker like for like.. I’m looking at buying a GT3 (manual 997.2 ideally). Problem is, I’ve just told the wife we can spend a bit more on a new house...

I just want to get the 500e back to a high standard and then use it for a fair weather toy. Dave! You've been saying that for forever now mate; is it getting any closer or is life still proving to be an obstacle? Life, house, kids  The eldest starts school in September and the youngest will th...

Re: The idle dreaming “what next” thread.
I just want to get the 500e back to a high standard and then use it for a fair weather toy. I’d like to replace the ML with an estate but know the practicality with the dog won’t be there. So the next family bus should be a diesel of some kind. I will then look at ML63 6.2s again and inevitably buy ...
