Re: Security cameras and doorbells

https://twitter.com/nearlylegal/status/1448578780646236161?s=20 Based on that picture will the neighbour that's closer to the claimant also have to pay up as their Ring doorbell will doubtless cover more of her property? They've demonstrated in court the ring doorbell had sound settings that could ...

Re: Security cameras and doorbells

I have some, fairly cheap wireless 4 cam setup from ebay they point at my property only, I got them after the inlaws had the cat stolen from the Celica and thought a bit of CCTV might have been useful. They don't do sound but do motion detect however that's turned off at the moment (might switch it ...

Re: Your fleet running reports

Well, it wasn't the battery. Swapped it out and still exactly the same. I'm told it's the transmission control unit....if there's one argument against the continuing domination of the auto box.....it's that I've never had a manual gearbox fail in all my car owning years. I've owned two autos, and b...

Re: Randomness

Saying I've got camera footage only serves the purpose of proving that the trucker did nothing wrong, under UK laws at least which is what counts. Repeatedly saying it's London and you know cyclists do this all the time makes him look like an entitled prick.

Took the headlights apart last night to set the beams and discovered mine are all bonded in with no adjustment  . A bodge it would seem by the salvage yard to get it out the door. However when checking the beam pattern it's spot on (once I'd made sure that the bulb in the passenger side was lo...

The Petrol God's have shunned me for teasing people in the queues :( I ran the i3 today on petrol to hold state of charge as I haven't run the motor for over a month and the CEL has come on  I'll buy an Aldi code reader but the internet suggests that there will be no code and it will go off i...

Sticking this here because, we’ll Cobbles… Paris Roubaix’s on Eurosport and even more miserable than usual… Watched the end of the Women's tour of Britain first stage last night on ITV4, they mentioned that there was a roundabout about 1.2k from the end they had to negotiate. I though well if...

I'd be miffed if it is a strut though as they're only about 20k mi old.
Coolant washing some oily residue off the block? Had this with my old Navara.

Went to see my mate in Doncaster over the weekend, he is finishing the final few bits on his XR4x4 (it's road legal and driving) so he can start to use it next year. Next time I go I should get a passenger ride out in it.

If you see someone in a Mitsubishi l200, chimaera or combo flashing you it will be as I certainly won't miss that if I see it out on the street.

Re: Petrol the new toilet roll

Out and about in the Doncaster area today, 2 asdas, 3 Morriston and several local petrol stations all have fuel, no queues, no panic buying and no profiteering either. All seems normal. Totally different to home. Could it be that be that people in the South are selfish bellends?

Driving to Doncaster later. Got enough diesel to get there (truck won't get there and back on a single tank and I have just under a full tank). I'll stop at the last couple of services on the way up there and pay the higher prices just so I have some ready for the return on Sunday evening. Living da...

Lambda my bet.

TVR exhibited the same symptoms when I didn't have one fitted!

Pretty sure the P0171 and 172 codes relate to the Lambda in the Corsa too and that has an intermittent Lambda fault at the moment.

Lets see what Dan says.

200 metre queues in the village today. doesn't help that the Tesco/Esso was ramraided 2 weeks ago and they haven't reopened it yet so the Texaco/Coop is being hammered. At least I put £40 in the TVR last night.

The hauliers forcing the drivers to be self employed to get around things like responsibility for them being made to work under poor conditions (70 hours weeks) and breaking rules (tacho removal) was cited by the guy I know who flat refuses to go back. The changes to IR35 mean they would have all of...

Yeah, I know, and Bezos building a spaceship is the same, pro-rata, as me buying a bag of crisps or something, but that's not the point I was getting at. If I passed up that bag of crisps and gave the money to a homeless person then net-net it's made very little difference to the world. If <assorte...
