Re: The House Projects Thread
Also, to make it clear, I’m not suggesting Jobbo gives me a simple effective answer to a complex case (which he may be able to!); I’m saying I feel that this is now unfair towards Gav; I think the balance should be equal, and Judges shouldn’t shirk their responsibility.

Re: The House Projects Thread
I’m not trying to take sides Ian - my view is the reality of this type of court application. The courts are always very reluctant to take away someone’s property. Gav is unusual in that he is not just the landlord, he is also the neighbour who has had to live with this behaviour for years. Most nei...

Re: The Movie Thread
I was a fan of martial arts movies, Brandon Lee and was upset when he died, but it was never anything more than an accident.. same as Navalny I know nothing about him except The Crow, why would he be killed? Load of bS about his Dad teaching him “forbidden” martial art moves.. probably made the mov...

Re: The House Projects Thread
It feels like the judge lost his nerve when he realised he was going to have to make a possession order. That is exactly what I’d always have in mind with this - they don’t just become homeless, they lose all of the value in their property. They may have brought it on themselves but by failing to e...

Re: FPN advice
Ugh.. CPZ’s are today head scratch. The signs say controlled zone so I stayed away, now looks like it’s fine to drive but not park (I think!).. and modern developments may not be entitled to a permit to park  :? Chiswick and Kew.. make it clearer please! Richmond doesn’t accept most credit ca...

Re: Test drive report
Today's test drive was of a 992 Carrera 2 GTS. Tewkesbury Porsche's demonstrator with lightweight pack and full GTS interior Race-Tex in black with red stitching, seatbelts and brake calipers. A nice simple spec but looked good. I'd been tempted to the showroom by the excellent sales chap who we've...

Re: Randomness
I’m calling bullshit. Let’s assume it’s true that it both locked on full throttle and wouldn’t shift from drive to neutral. I refuse to believe that the mechanical brakes also refused to work. I accept that - if you don’t really understand how brakes work - you could squeeze them and get everything...
