Re: The Watches Thread

(the seller owns tens of watches so it has not been heavily worn). How many are you at now? Only 3 for me (OK 5 if you count those below in brackets) - Chris Ward C11 MSL - Chris Ward C1000CE - Alpina Alpiner 4 - (ceramic quartz Skagen used when working on the car etc - very slim and light) -...

Did you ever find out the real reason for this madness, or was he still claiming that the clutch was broken?

Re: Trump

I'm just learning about 'faithless electors' for the first time. The people who make up the Electoral College can actually vote for a candidate other than the one who came top in their State election results... Such a crazy system in this day and age. :o https://fortune.com/2020/11/04/2020-election-...

Seems like a race best watched on highlights. Really feel for George there, very likely to have scored his first points otherwise. :(

Re: People are odd aren't they?

Adding to this thread, I’ve lived in my house for 15 years. The week I moved In in 2005 next door said to me he’ll fix the fence as approx 60% was missing. I spent 2 years doing the place up adding a single storey extension double drive etc, still no fence repairs. We would speak in the street and ...

Re: People are odd aren't they?

Next day I get a ParentMail video of my oldest boys new teacher and I realise I recognise that wall, it’s my garage wall, she’s the noisy one. She was very sheepish at the school pick up and knows if she is bad again Maxwell will tell her off in school or repeatedly say hi while stood on the roof o...

Re: New Top Gear

This is quite a good insight into YouTube ad revenue for the more popular YouTubers. Bear in mind that the UK car YouTubers get on average about 1-2% of the views of the video that this looks at!

Re: New Top Gear

I'd say car vlogging is one of the less profitable youtuber specialisms, high expenses and less obvious brand partnerships and opportunities to flog products than with fitness, food YouTubers etc. Schmee's probably doing best out of the UK bunch because he puts up so much content but I don't think t...
