Push it down, out of the little notch and it should spring return to the closed position. If it doesn’t then it be fucked Just a little important note that’s good for anyon...

The M240i would break traction at 70mph in 4th gear. On MPSS tyres. (Wet)

Find their F40 "Drag race " video. It's terrible. F40 guy is short shifting in every race just as it comes on boost.

Re: Harry’s Garage

Interesting vid. I think he mentioned a couple of week's ago that the CDE of the RR Sport made a big difference to the mpg figures compared with some of the other similar cars he'd been driving. Can't believe the monthlies are £500 or so cheaper for a Sport over a RR though. I don't mind that red/o...

Re: MX5 owners

That is quite similar to the one I test drove at my stepson's dealership though since that was the end of last summer, it was about £16k. Not a bad price. I really didn't like the colour though; that grey is insipid. Not sure what I'm going to get yet once we've moved house; the budget might be den...

Re: Tedious but traditional New Car thread

As far as I'm concerned, previous owner (Zonda) didn't map it, previous owner has no direct evidence of being mapped, so until I prove otherwise, it may well just be a particularly healthy example that's adapted the engine and gearbox to being driven hard on high octane fuel - which is something th...

Re: For the FAO of stereoists

Lots of great advice in this so far thank you. Unfortunately I can't give you any tech specs of any of it as it's either in the UK or may have possibly just left. So I guess I'll have to get it all here first and set it up and then go from there and maybe revisit advice here. I'm also not sure any ...

Re: VOIP Phones

Depending on your broadband provider and router there should be a port at the back to plug in an adapter which in turn allows you to plug in any standard home phone (eg dect). If so, the router should have been supplied an adapter. It’ll look something like this: https://amzn.eu/d/9zn0dQX This - My...

Re: For the FAO of stereoists

To start with, plug it all in and enjoy for now, worry about ripping/streaming and upgrading later. That's probably the best advice from this thread so far. Also where i was going with it. He did say however that the speakers were huge and as a result may not be shipped. Hence the advice on buying ...

They sound far better than the pounds demanded for them suggests.

Re: For the FAO of stereoists

Myself and miik spend (too) many hours talking about the above. As he says old hi fi is not necessarily bad hifi. Separates can live forever. The slight exception to this is that speakers do tend to have a lifecycle IME. I had an outstanding set of Wharfedale Valdus 400 speakers for years but one by...

In other news - We have discovered evidence of mice this morning. In the past I'd have suggested getting a cat. However, it turns out that even with 11 cats chasing a live mouse around our house, I could relatively easily catch the mouse myself and put it outside. So if you do get a cat, get...

Run it past your solicitor. Tell them your remediation. Leave the disclosure call to them as they will have a better idea on what legally is your responsibility.

I use blink cameras with cloud storage for much cheapness. Some are hard wired some used lithiam batteries. Batteries last a couple of months dependant on traffic.
